Getting Started with Sentrivox

Create your account, log into the portal, and understand how Sentrivox protects and inventories your endpoints — from zero to your first dashboard in minutes.

What is Sentrivox?

Sentrivox is a unified IT asset management and security platform built for small and medium businesses. It automatically discovers every Windows endpoint you own, inventories its hardware and software, runs critical security hardening checks, and continuously scans for vulnerabilities — all from a single cloud portal, with no on-premise servers to maintain.

This guide walks you through the three things you need to do to get up and running: create your account, install the agent on your first endpoint, and read your first security dashboard.

Step 1 — Create your account

1
Request access
Go to sentrivox.com and click "Get Started Free", or request a guided walkthrough on the Request a Demo page. The Free plan covers up to 25 endpoints at no cost.
2
Verify your email
You’ll receive a confirmation email. Click the link to activate your account and set your password.
3
Log into the portal
Sign in at portal.sentrivox.com with your email and password. This is your central dashboard for every asset and finding.
ℹ️
One login, everything included
Your Sentrivox account gives you access to asset inventory, security posture, vulnerability management, and reporting — there are no separate modules to enable.

Step 2 — Add your first endpoint

Sentrivox collects data through a lightweight agent that runs on each Windows machine. Installing it takes about two minutes per device.

  • Download the agent installer from the portal (Settings → Agents → Download).
  • Run the installer on the Windows endpoint you want to protect.
  • The agent registers itself and begins its first scan automatically.

For the full walkthrough, including silent installation across many machines, see How to Install the Sentrivox Windows Agent.

Step 3 — Read your first dashboard

Within a few minutes of the agent's first check-in, your portal dashboard populates with live data:

  • Asset inventory — hardware specs, installed software, patch status, users, and running services.
  • Security posture — results of the 8 critical Windows hardening checks for each endpoint.
  • Vulnerabilities — known CVEs affecting your software, prioritized by real-world risk.
  • Risk score — a single number summarizing your organization’s security health.
💡
Give it a few minutes
The first scan gathers a lot of data. If a new endpoint hasn't appeared yet, wait a few minutes and refresh — agents check in on a regular heartbeat.

What's next?

Once your first endpoint is reporting, roll the agent out to the rest of your fleet and invite your team. From there, the portal keeps everything current automatically.
