How to Install the Sentrivox Windows Agent
Step-by-step guide to downloading, installing, and verifying the lightweight Sentrivox agent on your Windows endpoints — including silent and mass deployment.
Before you begin
The Sentrivox agent is a lightweight Windows application that collects asset and security data and sends it securely to your portal. Before installing, make sure each target machine meets these requirements:
- Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Server 2016 or newer.
- Local administrator rights to run the installer.
- Outbound HTTPS (port 443) internet access — no inbound ports are opened.
Option A — Install on a single machine
Option B — Silent / mass deployment
To deploy across many machines at once, run the installer silently through your existing tools — Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, an RMM, or a login script. The silent flag installs with no user interaction:
SentrivoxAgentSetup.exe /SCommon deployment methods:
- Group Policy — publish the installer as a computer-assigned software package or startup script.
- Intune / MDM — package the executable as a Win32 app with the /S silent argument.
- RMM tools — push the installer as a script or software deployment task to your device groups.
Verify the installation
After installing, confirm the agent is running and reporting:
- Check the Windows Services list for the Sentrivox agent service — it should show as Running.
- In the portal, open your asset list and confirm the device appears with a recent "last seen" time.
- Open the device detail page to see its first inventory and security check results.
