Viewing Your IT Asset Inventory
Understand how Sentrivox automatically discovers hardware, software, patches, users, and services — and how to search, filter, and export your inventory.
How discovery works
Once the Sentrivox agent is installed on an endpoint, it automatically collects a complete picture of that machine on each heartbeat — no manual data entry and no spreadsheets. Everything you see in the inventory is gathered and refreshed automatically.
What Sentrivox inventories
For every managed endpoint, Sentrivox continuously discovers and records:
- Hardware — CPU, memory, disk, manufacturer, model, and serial number.
- Operating system — version, build, and edition.
- Installed software — applications and versions, so you always know what’s running.
- Patches & updates — installed Windows updates and update configuration.
- Local users & accounts — including risky accounts such as an enabled Guest account.
- Running services & scheduled tasks — what’s executing on the machine.
- Open ports — the network services each endpoint exposes.
Searching and filtering
The Assets view is fully searchable. Use it to answer questions instantly, for example:
- Which machines still have a specific vulnerable application installed?
- Which endpoints are missing a critical Windows update?
- Which devices haven’t checked in recently?
- How many endpoints are running a particular OS build?
Filter by attributes such as operating system, software, patch status, or last-seen time to narrow the list down to exactly the machines you care about.
Exporting your inventory
Any inventory view can be exported for reporting, audits, or offline analysis. This makes it easy to hand a complete, accurate asset list to auditors, insurers, or leadership without spending days compiling it manually.
